Fainting or syncope is an event that often occurs in our environment. The impact of someone experiencing syncope can have high morbidity which often recurs and is accompanied by physical injury. Apart from that, if syncope sufferers are not
treated properly it will result in complications including poor blood circulation and respiratory problems. There are many causes of syncope and some of them are caused by serious illnesses. The aim of this research was to determine the
level of knowledge of class X Nursing 2 students regarding first aid in cases of syncope. The method used in this research is a descriptive survey, the population of this study was 62 people with a sample of 43 people using a purposive sampling technique. The research instrument used was a questionnaire. Based on research conducted in April 2024 at the Bakti Indonesia Medika Blitar Health Vocational School, out of 43 respondents, it showed that more than half of them, 22 respondents (51.2%) were in the sufficient category because among the 22 they understood how to properly handle syncope, even though it was only basic.Suggestions for carrying out first aid measures for someone experiencing syncope
require knowledge, because knowledge plays a very important role in first aid for syncope incidents.
